SATO, KENGI
CHILD DROWNED AT WAIMEA.  Kengi Sato, a seven-year-old boy of Waimea, was accidently

drowned at the mouth of the Waimea river last Tuesday afternoon. Sato went swimming

at the mouth of the river with some older boys who later left him alone on the beach

while they went to catch fish. When the older boys returned, Sato was missing, and
an 
investigation proved that he had gone out over his head and had drowned. His body
was 
recovered that evening.
