SMITH, EMMA
ASHES OF EMMA SMITH LAID TO REST.  The ashes of Miss Emma Smith were laid to rest 
with appropriate services in the family plot in Koloa, Friday afternoon in the 
presence of the immediate relatives and friends of the deceased. W. O. Smith and
Fred 
Smith, both well known on Kauai, were down for the occasion. Simple and impressive 
services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Lydgate, assisted by Rev. S. K. Kaulili and by

the Koloa choir. There were some three dozen persons present.
