SOUZA, JOAQUIM A.
JOAQUIM SOUZA PASSES AWAY.  Joaquim A. Souza of Kealia died at the Kealia Hospital 
at 12:30 o'clock Friday morning after an illness of some two weeks ago. Mr. Souza 
was an old and valued employee of the Makee Sugar Company, having served that 
company as a carpenter for the past 31 years. He leaves a wife, three daughters, 
and four sons to mourn his loss. The children are all married and, with the 
exception of two daughters who reside in Honolulu, are all living in Kealia. The 
family desires to thank their many kind friends for the sympathy and comfort 
extended them in the time of their sorrow. They wish especially to thank Mr. and 
Mrs. Herman Wolters for their great help and kindly sympathy. []
