Orr jessicanorr@gmail.com March 6, 2012, 7:42 pm Honolulu Star-Bulletin, April 6, 1976 KAUNAKAKAI, Molokai - Antonio V. Abrahano, 69, a prominent Filipino civic leader, died here Saturday of cancer. He was born in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Wake services will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. and again from 1 to 3 p.m. tomorrow at Hoolehua Congregational Church. Funeral services will be at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, followed by burial at the Kapaakea Cemetery. MR. Abrahano was an organizer of the United Filipino Community Council and was a vice president of that organization until his death. He was a charter member of the Molokai Lions Club and was active in Boy Scouts and church activities. He is survivied by his widow, Rhody, a son, Antonio Jr., three daughters, Rhody Anne, Estrellita and Antonette, and two sisters, Mrs. Cristine Pagadoan and MRs. Estrella Agpoon, both of the Philippines.
