Nellist MANUEL VINCENT FERRY, Insurance Official. Beginning his career in the insurance business in 1911 as a clerk in the office of the Home Insurance Co. of Hawaii, Ltd., Manuel V. Ferry rose to the responsible position of treasurer and acting manager in eleven years. In 1922 he joined the International Trust Co., Ltd., as manager of the insurance and real estate departments, which position he still occupies. He is also assistant treasurer of the International Trust Co., Ltd.; secretary of the Printshop Co., Ltd., and secretary and treasurer of the International Building & Loan Association, Ltd., a new Honolulu corporation. Mr. Ferry was born in Koloa, Kauai, April 5, 1889, and was educated at the Royal School and St. Louis College, Honolulu, and at Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, Cal., where he received his A. B. degree in 1909. He married Charlotte Young Bennett, April 5, 1916, in Honolulu. Their children are Helen, Dorothy, Patricia, Alma and Reginald.
