ALFRED GOMEZ, Business Man. Alfred Gomez, manager of the Waimea Stables, 
Waimea branch at Waimea, Kauai, has been connected with that firm continuously 
since 1902. His first position was as a teamster. He later became a 
blacksmith’s helper, the chauffeur, and in 1918 he was appointed manager. 
Before being employed by the Waimea Stables, Mr. Gomez worked for several 
years on plantations.
  He was born in Madeira, Portugal, March 21, 1885, the son of John and Janice 
Gomez. His education was received in the public schools of Hawaii.
