Nellist MARSHALL B. HENSHAW, Trust Company Official. Like many other young men who have reached responsible positions in the business world of Hawaii, Marshall B. Henshaw, vice-president and a director of the Bishop Trust Co., Ltd., began his career in Honolulu as a lawyer. After three years in the practice of his profession, and in military service during the World War, he joined the Bishop Trust Co. in 1919 as trust officer, was elected treasurer and director in July, 1920, and later in the same year was made secretary. He was advanced to a vice-presidency in January, 1924. He is also a director of the Army National Bank of Schofield Barracks. Born at Downey, Calif., Nov. 24, 1889, Mr. Henshaw is the son of George Marshall and Leonora (Meador) Henshaw. He attended school in California and was graduated from Stanford University in 1912, receiving an A. B. degree. He was admitted to the California bar in 1916, and came to Honolulu in that year to the law firm of Holmes and Olson. With the entry of the United States into the World War, Mr. Henshaw entered the army, serving as a first lieutenant and later as captain of infantry. He was honorably discharged in April, 1919, and was with the law firm of Robertson and Olson until the following August, when he became associated with the Bishop Trust Co. Mr. Henshaw married Rose Herbert, daughter of Dr. George Herbert, June 14, 1917. They have two children, George Herbert and Margaret Norine Henshaw. Mr. Henshaw is a member of the University Club and was a member of its board of governors in 1921-22. He is also a member of the Oahu Country Club.
