Nellist HERMAN PAUL HUDDY, Plantation Head Overseer. A native of Hawaii, born at Koolau, Kauai, Dec. 14, 1886, the son of William and Elizabeth (Kahele) Huddy, Herman P. Huddy entered the sugar industry at the age of 15 as an employee of Kilauea plantation, where he has been head overseer since 1923. He had previously held positions as engineer, warehouse keeper, time-keeper and was a Board of Health inspector for eight years. He was educated in the public schools of Kauai. Mr. Huddy married Victoria Makikoa, Nov. 17, 1906, and they have four children, Herman, Jr., Artine, Ruth and Jacob Huddy.
