Nellist WILLIAM JAMIESON, Corporation Official. Coming to Hawaii from Scotland when a young man, William Jamieson, treasurer and a director of C. Brewer & Co., Ltd., has spent twenty years in Honolulu in the service of but two firms. He became an official of C. Brewer & Co., Ltd., in 1917, and was elected to the directorate in 1921, when he also became director and treasurer of Onomea Sugar Co. Born at Kirriemuir, Scotland, April 10, 1880, Mr. Jamieson is the son of William and Annie Wilson (Barrie) Jamieson. He was educated in the public schools of Kirriemuir. From 1896 to 1900 he worked in a law office at Kirriemuir, later going to Manchester, where he was employed by a commission house. Coming to Hawaii in 1905, he took a position as bookkeeper with Bishop & Co., bankers, remaining there until 1911, when he joined C. Brewer & Co., Ltd. He married Margaret Quinan in Honolulu, Aug. 7, 1912. They have three sons, Ronald, William and Robert Jamieson. Mr. Jamieson is a member of the Oahu Country Club.
