Nellist FRANK J. JOHNSON, Store Manager. Born at Hadenville, Mass., in 1878, the son of Jerome Gilbert and Ophilie E. (Wood) Johnson, Frank J. Johnson was educated in the public schools of Greenfield, Mass., and came to Hawaii in 1903. He was with the Honolulu Rapid Transit Co. three years, the A. B. Lindsey store at Honokaa four years, in the commission business in Honolulu one year, and assistant manager of the Puunene store, Maui, for eight years. Since August, 1923, Mr. Johnson has been manager of the Hutchinson sugar plantation stores at Naalehu, Island of Hawaii. Mr. Johnson is a member of the I.O.O.F. at Westminster, Calif., and of Olive Rebekah Lodge, Honolulu. He served in the United States army for one year during the World war period.
