Nellist LEWIS CHURCHILL KING, Merchant. At the age of 19, Lewis C. King began work for his father, the late Thomas James King, then president of the concern that he had organized, the California Feed Co., Ltd. He worked as a clerk in the establishment for several years, learning the business, and upon the retirement of his father from active connection with the firm in 1909, Mr. King became president and director, a position he occupied until the California Feed Co. was sold to the Honolulu Dairymen’s Association in April, 1925. Mr. King, with his brother, Thomas V. King, organized the Kauai Honey Co., of which he is now secretary. He is also vice-president of the Pan-Pacific Traders and holds memberships in the Kaelepula Shooting Club, the Masonic orders, Oahu Country, Myrtle Boat and Beretania Tennis clubs. Mr. King was born in Honolulu, June 5, 1883, the son of Thomas J. and Josephine (Wundenberg) King. In 1921 he married Besse Jones of Mansfield, Ore.
