Nellist J. PAUL LEEBRICK, Insurance Manager. With wide business and sales training, J. Paul Leebrick came to Honolulu in 1921 and became manager of the life insurance department of the Home Insurance Co. of Hawaii, Ltd., his present position. He went to work in 1913 for the Holly Sugar Corporation in Huntington Beach, Calif., a large beet sugar concern. For several years he was with this company in various capacities from clerk to assistant superintendent of construction at the Swink, Colo., plant. For a brief period Mr. Leebrick was a salesman for the Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co., and in 1917 he left the sugar company for the second time to become city salesman for the United States Rubber Co. in Los Angeles, returning to the Holly Sugar Corporation shortly thereafter. Aside from his work in Honolulu, Mr. Leebrick has other business interests on the mainland. He is a Mason and a member of the Y. M. C. A., Commercial and Outrigger Canoe Clubs. He was born in Mesa, Ariz., Nov. 30, 1894, the son of John P. and Mary (Rosenberger) Leebrick. His education was received in the public schools of California and Arizona, and he attended the University of California. In 1916 he married Eva Day of Los Angeles, and they have one son, J.
