Nellist STANLEY LIVINGSTON, Realtor. After almost a score of years of service in the educational and business life of the Territory, Stanley Livingston founded the firm of Livingston Brothers, realtors, of which he has been president since 1921. Mr. Livingston arrived in Hawaii in August, 1902, as an instructor in mathematics at Kamehameha Schools. Seven years later he was promoted to registrar and business agent for the schools, resigning in 1912 to become treasurer and chief accountant for the Haiku Fruit and Packing Co. Three years later he accepted the principalship of the Punahou boarding school, which he filled for one year. From 1916 to 1919 he was employed in the real estate department of the Hawaiian Trust Co., resigning to become vice-president and manager of the Milton Realty Co. In 1921 he established Livingston Bros., now one of the leading real estate firms in Hawaii. He is a director and treasurer of the Honolulu Automobile Club, a director of the Mid-Pacific Institute and a director and president of the Philharmonic Society of Hawaii. He married Naaitje Rouwenhorst on Aug. 9, 1904, and they have six children, Donald, Margerita, Paul Maynard, Dorothy, David and Stanley, Jr. Mr. Livingston was born June 20, 1876, to Samuel Lynch and Candace Livingston at Quincy, Ohio. He received an A. B. degree from Oberlin College and the degree of M. A. from Columbia University.
