Nellist GEORGE BABYLON SCHRADER, Corporation Official. George B. Schrader, secretary and director of Fred L. Waldron & Co., Ltd., joined that large wholesale commission and shipping concern as bookkeeper in 1911. Upon the incorporation of the company in 1912 he became secretary and director. Mr. Schrader also serves as secretary and director of the Pacific Development Co., Ltd. He is interested in music, has been a member of numerous orchestras in Honolulu, and formerly for many years was secretary of the Musicians’ Association of Honolulu. Before becoming associated with the Waldron Company, Mr. Schrader was a sugar clerk for one year with the Wailuku Sugar Co., Ltd., on the Island of Maui, and from 1905 to 1911 was with the Kahului Railway in charge of the Kahului station, in the several capacities of train dispatcher, postmaster and foreign freight clerk. Born in San Francisco on Jan. 16, 1879, he is the son of George D. and Mary (Babylon) Schrader. He attended the public schools of San Francisco and San Diego, St. Louis College in Honolulu, and the Stockton Business College, Stockton, Calif. IN 1904 he married Mary Garcia of Wailuku, Maui, and they have three children, John Weddirck, Grace Thelma, and Marion Adele Schrader. Mr. Schrader is an Elk, a Knight of Pythias and a member of the Honolulu Golf, Outrigger Canoe and Commercial Clubs.
