Nellist RICHARD TALMAGE TREADWELL, Physician. After serving as house surgeon of the Queen’s Hospital from the time of his arrival in Honolulu in April, 1922, until 1923, Dr. Richard T. Treadwell removed to Kohala, Hawaii, and entered general practise there as a physician and surgeon. Dr. Treadwell is government physician at North Kohala, and acting assistant surgeon of the United States Public Health Service. He is a Mason, a member of Nu Sigma Nu fraternity, the Hilo Yacht Club, Hilo lodge of Elks and the American Legion. Bon in Lufkin, Texas, on June 2, 1896, Dr. Treadwell is the son of William B. and Nannie J. (Fite) Treadwell. He attended Lufkin High School, received his B. S. degree from the University of Texas, and his M. D. degree from Rush Medical College, Chicago, Ill. Dr. Treadwell had two years of World War service as a member of the 36th Division, U.S.A., and spent seven months at the front in France. He is now a first lieutenant of the Hawaii National Guard. He married Geraldine Bryant of Kohala, Hawaii, Jan. 17, 1925.
