During the war Dr. Waterhouse served as secretary of the medical advisory board of the selective draft committee. Dr. Waterhouse was born at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Aug. 12, 1877, the son of William and Melicent P. (Smith) Waterhouse. He married Mabel Z. Palmer at Irvingdale, Calif., on July 4, 1907.
