Fontanelle Observer, January 22, 1903
Lydia M. (Coe) Snyder died Sunday, January 19, 1903. She was born in Oswego 
County, New York, January 26, 1814. She married George W. Snyder in 1832 in 
Warren County, Pennsylvania. In 1839 they moved to Warren County Illinois and 
lived there until 1863. They moved to Fontanelle, Adair County, Iowa. Her 
husband died 21 (1882) years ago. They had nine children.

She is survived by 
1. Mr. A. J. Snyder Creston, Iowa
2. Mrs. M. A. Robinson Galesburg, Illinois
3. Mrs. L. J. Taylor Colorado Springs, Colorado
4. Mr. Geo. L. Snyder Oil City, Pennsylvania
5. Mrs. Amos Wright (Nancy) Laurel, Nebraska
6. Mr W. F. Snyder Fontanelle, Iowa (not @ funeral)
7. Mr John K. Snyder Lead City South Dakota (not @ funeral)

She was a member of the Christian Church for eleven years. 
Buried at Fontanelle Cemetery, Wednesday, January 21, 1903.

Others attending the funeral Will, Allie and Harry Snyder & wives of the two 
former from Creston. (Assumption - These are A.J Snyders sons. Allie w/b A.B 
Snyder brother of Harry O Snyder.)

(Lydia M. (Coe) Snyder is daughter of Ariel Coe, a descendent of Robert Coe, 
Purtain.  Her mother is probably Lydia Crosby, born in Rhode Island.)
