William Henry Harrison Botsford was born on the day William Henry Harrison was inaugurated as President and so was named after him. He enlisted in the Union army under the name of Harrison Botsford at Lansing, 11 Aug 1862 for three years of service. He was inducted at Dubuque 03 Oct 1862 and assigned to Co.
