The Mirror, Lyons, Clinton County, Iowa, May 23, 1854 

DIED 

At Hardin, Allamakee County, Iowa, on the 11th ult., Miss JANE PRESCOTT, was 
poisoned by eating wild parsnips. She lived about one hour after eating the 
parsnips. Miss Prescott was about sixteen years of age.
