B. Hendrick, of Waukon, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and proclaim, this instrument to be my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me made. First: I direct that all my legal debts be paid. Second: I give to each of my daughters the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to be paid to them as soon as possible after my death. I make this provision, for the reason that they have never received any advancement from me. Third: All the rest of my property of every description I give to my wife, Amelia G. Hendrick, for her use and benefit during her life. The rents, interest, and profits to be hers absolutely, to use as she may desire. Fourth: At the death of my said wife I want and direct that the remaining portion of my estate be divided equally between my children, Mrs. Theo Burgess, Mrs. Maud Volding, Max Hendrick and Burt Hendrick, share and share alike. Fifth: I hereby nominate my wife to be the executrix of my estate, and that she not be required to give any bond as such executrix. Sixth: In case my wife declines to act as such executrix, or in any manner becomes incapacitated to act by reason of sickness, or any other cause, or at her death, I hereby nominate my daughter, Mrs. Maud Volding, executrix to succeed my said wife as executrix of my estate and direct that she not be required to give any bond as such executrix. Witness my signature the 15th day of April, 1911. M. B. Hendrick. The foregoing typewritten instrument was read to us in our presence and in the presence of each of us by the said M. B. Hendrick and by him declared to be his last will and testament, and the same was signed in our presence and the presence of each other, and that at his request we signed the same as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other, this 15th day of April, 1911 at Waukon, Iowa.
