DIED-

At Rochester, Cedar county, on the 14th inst., Gen Harman Van Antwerp, aged 
about 28 years. Gen. Van Antwerp was a native of the state of New York and 
came to the Iowa Territory about 5 years ago, and shortly afterwards located 
in Cedar county. In 1840, he was chosen Representative from that district to 
the Legislature, in which body he distinguished himself as a talented and 
influential member.
