FITZSIMMONS, 65, DIES HERE Services to Be Held at 2:30 O’Clock Wednesday Afternoon George W. Fitzsimmons, 65, died at a local hospital at 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon, following a long illness. He had been a resident of Mason City for the past 35 years. Mr. Fitzsimmons was born Aug. 13, 1873, in Illinois. He resided at 516 Sixth street southwest in Mason City. Surviving Mr. Fitzsimmons are his wife and two sons, Cecil and Clair, of Mason City, five brothers, Lou, Mason City; Homer, Charles City; John, Dundel, Ill., Joe, Idaho; and Charles, Oregon; and one sister, Rose Dow, Twin Falls, Idaho. Funeral services will be held at the Major-Randall funeral home at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. Walter H. Kampen, pastor of the Central Lutheran church, in charge of services. George Fitzsimmons to Be Buried at Lake; Funeral Wednesday CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for George Fitzsimmons, former resident of the Clear Lake vicinity, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at Randall’s funeral home in Mason City. Burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery. Mr. Fitzsimmons, who moved from here 15 years ago, died at a Mason City hospital, Saturday following a long illness.
