Mr. Gushart was a stone mason by trade, and retired from this occupation only a few years ago when his age prevented him from continuing. He was a member of the United Brethren church of Clarksville. He is survived by the daughter Mrs. John McElhaney, Clarksville, by a son, Leo of Bell, Cal., by the grandchildren, Mrs. Wilbur Baroom, Clarksville, Mrs. Floyd Wharton and Mrs. Paul Good, both of Waterloo, Howard and Richard McElhaney, Clarksville, by six granchildren in California, by a sister and brother, Mrs. Lucy Marvin and Abe Gushart of Naperville, Ill. Funeral services were conducted at the Hammel funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, and burial was in Lynwood cemetery. The Rev. Henry Duhan of the Evangelical church officiated at the service.
