Globe-Globe Gazette Apr. 1939
William Lloyd, 79 [sic], Dies in Hospital, Services Thursday
   William Lloyd, 78 [sic], died at a local hospital at 5:45 o’clock Monday
afternoon, following an illness of two years. He was born at Woodbine, Ill,
1861, the son of Welch parents.
   Surviving Mr. Lloyd are four sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Lumley, Hampton; Mrs. Sarah
Hemphill, Minneapolis; Mrs. Lydia Reber, Isanta, Minn.; and Mrs. May VanArd,
Hampton; and several nieces and nephews in Mason City.
   Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the McAuley and Son funeral
home a 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon.  Burial will be at Elmwood cemetery.  –
