William H. Weihe Dies at Postville
   POSTVILLE – William H. Weihe, 73, formerly chairman for two terms of the
Allamakee county board of supervisors and for many years prominent north-eastern
Iowa farmer, died Saturday, following a brief illness.
   He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Hattie, two brothers, Charles and
Elmer, all of Postville, and a sister, Mrs. F. H. Schepple of Dubuque.
   Burial will be in the Postville cemetery.  Date of the funeral has not been
set.  – Mason City Globe Gazette, Monday, April 10, 1939, p. 3, col. 8.
