W. B. Chick, dealer in groceries, fruits and provisions, established business in
1872; was born in Maine in 1848; came to Michigan in 1868, and two years later
he came to Cherokee. He enlisted in the first Maine light artillery, and served
two years and three months. He has been three terms county auditor of Cherokee
county.
