H. Kennedy, of the firm of H. Kennedy & Co., dealers in general merchandise,
established business in 1875; also have a branch store in Peterson, Clay county.
He was born in Ohio in 1850; came to Iowa with his parents in 1855. He next
moved to Cherokee and engaged in business as above.
