A. B. Knox, of the firm of Knox & Nicholson, proprietors of the N. Y. store,
established in 1872, was born in Pa. in 1855; came to Cherokee, Ia., in 1879,
and engaged in business. He married Lizzie Goheen, a native of Pa.
