Ole Oleson, of the firm of Ernester & Oleson, dealers in boots, shoes, clocks,
jewelry and sewing machines, established business in 1881. He was born in Norway
in 1856; came to America in 1877, and settled in Iowa county, Wis.; came to Iowa
in 1880.
