T. Patton, of the firm of Robertson & Patton, dealers in lumber grain, sash,
doors, blinds, etc., was born in Ireland in 1844; came to America in 1864, and
settled in Dubuque county, Ia.; thence to Delaware county, and in the autumn of
1870 came to Cherokee, and was one of the first settlers; was for some time in
the employ of the railroad company; established his present business in 1870.
