Dr. Sherman, of the firm of Butler & Sherman, physicians and surgeons, was born
in Pa. in 1846; moved west in 1862; graduated from the Keokuk medical college in
the class of '73, and began the practice of medicine in Cherokee the same year.
He is also surgeon for the Ill. C. Ry. He married Nellie Terry, and has one
child—Annie.
