M. Wakefield, attorney at law, will practice in all courts in the state. He was
born in Ill. in 1842; moved to Sioux City, Ia., in 1870, and the following year
located in Cherokee; received his education at the Ill. State Normal University,
from which he graduated in 1865; read law at Bloomington, Ill., and was admitted
to practice by the supreme court, Jan. 18th, 1869. He is mayor of Cherokee, and
has held minor offices in the city.
