L. M. White, of the firm of White Bros., proprietors of restaurant and bakery,
and dealers in staple and fancy groceries, was born in Bloomsburgh, Columbia
county, Pa., in 1859; received his education at the State Normal School, at
Bloomsburgh; removed to Cherokee in 1881, and established the above business in
June of the same year.
