Mildred Irene Barnard					1996

Mildred Irene Barnard, 89, a long-time resident of Onawa, Iowa, died Thursday, 
June 6, 1996, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	Mrs. Barnard was born March 12, 1907, in Marcus, Iowa, the daughter of 
Fred and Anna (Liggett) Mossman.    On September 21, 1936, she married William 
J. Barnard at Winfield, KS.  Mr. Barnard died November 15, 1978, in Sioux City.
	
	She is survived by two sons, one of Washington, D.C. and another of 
Onawa;  of Kent Island, MD; four grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Belfrage of 
Sioux City and a brother, Fred Mossman of Omaha, NE.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her 
brother, Dwaine.
