Agnes B. Joines

CHEROKEE, Iowa - Agnes B. Joines, 89, of Cherokee died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 
1999, in Cherokee, IA

Mrs. Joines was born Feb. 1, 1909, near Meriden, Iowa, the daughter of 
Cornelius and Mary (Scurlock) Pigott.

She married James Joines in December 1925. He died in 1953.

Survivors include a son and his wife of Sioux City; a daughter of Cherokee; a 
daughter-in-law, Clair Joines of Whiting, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-
grandchildren.
