Box 7735, Des Moines, Iowa 50322 JACKSONVILLE CEMETERY, CHICKASAW COUNTY, IOWA. Located 3 miles north of New Hampton, on Hi-way 63 and 4 ½ miles east, then ½ mile south. The old town of Jacksonville was 12 mile north. Here in 1854 Hazzard Green, erected the first building in Jacksonville township. Both the old town, now the "Adolph Munson Conservation Parl" and the Cemetery lay on the old "Military Trail".
