Her age at time of death was 73 years, 10 months and 21 days. Her demise is mourned by a large circle of neighbors and friends besides the relatives. Arvilla Clark was born July 25, 1838, in Franklin County, N.Y. She was converted in the year 1856. She was married to Marvin Potter, Nov. 3, 1858, in Franklin County, N.Y. One year after marriage she united with what was then called the Christian (unreadable). She remained a member of the church until 1865 when with her husband and two boys they moved to Bremer County, Iowa. She then united with the Baptist church in which faith she remained until her death. Mrs Potter was the mother of two children, who with the aged husband and father are left to mourn her death. They are Hammond O. of Nashua, and Herman W. of Horton. The funeral services will be held at the home at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, conducted by Rev. Otis L. Spurgeon, and the interment will be in Oak Hill.
