Nashua Reporter, Thursday, December 2, 1965, p. 1 HENDERSON RITES TO BE FRIDAY Funeral services will be held Friday from the Little Brown Church for Mark Orrin Henderson, 79. He died Tuesday morning at the Fritze Nursing Home, where he had been in ill health. He entered the nursing home in May after hospitalization in Charles City. The Rev. Glenn Utterback will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mark came to Nashua in 1948 and bought an acreage in Old Bradford, not far from the Little Brown Church, following his retirement from the Oliver at Charles City. Prior to working for the Oliver, he had been a policeman for the old Hart-Parr company, which was sold to the Oliver corporation. He was born January 30, 1886 at Harmony, Minn. He came to Charles City in 1909. He married Anna Johnson January 31, 1910. They lived in Charles City until coming to Nashua. He is survived by his wire, who also is in the nursing home; tow sons, Orrin of Waterloo and Clifford of Memphis, Tenn., Five grandchildren, Mrs. Art Munson of Charles City, Jerry, Donald, Bobby Henderson of Waterloo; Lawrence Schneider of Rockville, MD; four great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother.
