The Osceola Weekly Sentinel May 26, 1887
Mr. Albert Siefkas died of pnuemonia at his home in Ward township, May 20, 
1887. He was sick only a few days. Had he lived he would have been thirty 
years old in next July. He leaves a wife, two small children and numerous 
other relatives. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. C.W. Stuart at the M. 
E. church last Saturday afternoon, after which he was laid away in the Lacelle 
cemetery. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of many friends. Rev. C.W. 
Stuart will preach a memorial sermon in the M. E. church at Lacelle, Sunday, 
May 29th.
