Thomas Eagan, proprietor of the City Hotel, was born in Ill. in 1854; removed
with his parents during the same year to Wis., where he remained until 1881,
when he came to Spencer, and engaged in his present business. He was married in
1874 to Catherine Reardon, and has four children.
