Death ended a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 Friday afternoon in St. John's American Lutheran church, with burial in City cemetery. The Rev. W. J. F. Adix will conduct both ceremonies. Mr. Loesecke was 77 years of age. He was born in Schneeren, Germany, March 8, 1859. He grew to young manhood there, and married Miss Wilhelmina Speizhaus June 20, 1881. America in 1888 Mr. and Mrs. Loesecke came to this country in 1888, and settled immediately in Guttenberg, where they have resided ever since. He was employed for 25 years in the Zimmerman & Ives saw mill. Later, he worked for the Meuser Lumber company, and, for 10 years he was employed in button factories here. He retired several years ago. 6 Children Survive He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Donahue of Chicago, Mrs. Phil Every of Guttenberg, Mrs. Jack Huston of Oshkosh, Wis., and Mrs. Julius Pahlas of Elkader; two sons Albert Loesecke of Guttenberg, and the Rev. William Loesecke of New Orleans, La.; one sister, Mrs. Wilhelmina Becker of Guttenberg; one brother, F. Loesecke of Minneapolis; seven grand children, and one great grand child.
