It appears that Mr. Burns, in returning from the election, in crossing the bridge, missed his footing and fell where the water was about twelve feet deep. His hat was discovered in the vicinity on Wednesday, which led to his discovery. A coroner's jury was summoned by Justice Fegan, who returned a verdict of accidental drowning.
