They divorced in 1994. Carol was an outgoing, compassionate person. She was a friend to all. Carol's greatest accomplishment was the blending of 2 families and loving all the children as her own. Her gift to her children was in treating them all as biological. We were never referred to as step children. She succeeded in raising us all as one family. We will be forever grateful to her for that. Carol loved music. She worked at the Indianola, Iowa Wal-Mart in her later years and was known as the voice of Wal-Mart. Her songs to her coworkers were legendary. She loved her coworkers and the customers became her friends. Carol had a great sense of humor and laughed often. Her positive outlook was contagious. She never met a stranger.
