In her early childhood days she came to America and passed to her well earned reward at the home of her son, Mr. R. Fayram of DeWitt, Iowa, at 2 p.m. April 2, 1926. The first few years of her life in this country were spent in various places. In 1865 she was united in marriage to Joseph H. Fayram, a civil war veteran. At the close of the civil war they moved to Monmouth, Iowa. To this union were born 11 children, two of whom died in infancy and one son, LeRoy B. passed away in 1906. After the death of her husband she moved with her two sons, M. J. and A. M. to Clinton where she resided many years. She always lived a devoted Christian life and was a member of the Methodist church in Monmouth. She leaves to mourn her departing eight sons, Frank M. of Onslow, C. H. of Belvidere, Illinois, A. J. of Monmouth, M. R., Superintendent of Schools, E. M. of Clinton, J. C. of Jackson, Michigan, and A. M. of Council Bluffs, together with several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at the Methodist church, Monmouth with burial at the Monmouth cemetery.
