Alberta R. Hageman, 86, of Clinton, died Wednesday at Clover Ridge Place,
Maquoketa.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church with Bill
Michaelsen officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation
will be from 1 p.m. until the service time Saturday at the church. The Clinton
Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of
arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Michael and Mark Schmidt, Stephen Spangler and Michael
Eccleston.

She was born March 23, 1919, in Iowa City to Emil and Marie Schurr Riemer. She
married Duane A. Hageman on June 3, 1940, in Clinton. He died in 1977.

She was a 1937 graduate of Wyoming (Iowa) High School.

She worked with the Nielsen Clearing House for 16 years.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nancy (Don) Schmidt of Delmar and Mrs.
Carol (Jim) Spangler of Milwaukee; four grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to Zion Lutheran Church or the Sarah
Harding Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
