Oldest Person in Iowa Dies 

Mrs. Hannah, the venerable mother of Claus Hannah, who resided at Goose Lake, 
passed to her reward this morning at the home of her son, aged 102 years and 4 
days. Death was due to infirmities of extreme age. She was perhaps the oldest 
person in the State of Iowa. Her husband had been dead 17 years. She is 
survived by two sons and three grandchildren.-Preston Times
