Iten passed away this morning at 1:45 o'clock at her residence at 815 North Second street, after an illness of three months. Mrs. Iten, nee Theresa Zigler, was of foreign birth, coming to America when quite young. When four or five years of age, she came to this country with her parents, who made their home at Wheeling, West Virginia. In 1861 Miss Zigler was married to Louis Iten at Rock Island, and came to Clinton in 1892, where she had made her home since. Her husband preceded her in September, 1904. Mrs. Iten leaves to mourn her death one sister, Mrs. M. Eder, Beaver Falls, Pa., and one brother, John Zibler of Rapids City, Ill.; three sons, John of Omaha; Louis and Frank of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Burrill, and Anna Iten of Clinton and Mrs. D.F. Schribner of Davenport; six grandchildren, Helen Iten of Omaha, Fredric Schribner of Davenport, Sadie and Florence Burrill, William and Louis Iten, of Clinton; and one great grand daughter, Ruth Burrell Jenks also of this city. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home. The Rev. F.H. Burrellof the Episcopal rectory will officiate and burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
