Iten passed away this morning at 3 o'clock at her home, 815 North Second street. She had been ill for some time, was taken to Jane Lamb hospital where an emergency operation was performed some days ago. At her request to be returned to her home she was removed there yesterday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the late home with interment in Srpingdale cemetery. Miss Iten was born in Davenport January 14, 1864, the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa Iten. She came to Clinton with her parents in 1892 making her home here since. She was actively identified with the social and charitable work at St. John's Episcopal church of which she was a member, and was a member of Silver Moon Rebekahs and Clinton chapter, 65, O.E.S. There are left two brothers and two sisters, Louis C. and Frank Iten and Mrs. Arthur Burrell all of Clinton and Mrs. Fred Schribner of Davenport. There are also a number of nieces and nephews. A brother John Iten passed away in California three years ago and a brother William died in 1884 at the age of 15. Friends are asked to kindly refrain from sending flowers.
