A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Long Grove. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Garden Cemetery, East Moline, Ill, with military graveside services conducted at 2 p.m. Visitation will be at St. Ann's Catholic Church from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. He was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Rock Island, Ill. He married Carol Marie Schweska in 1950 in Rock Island. She preceded him in death in 1992. He married Norma Jean Waterman in 1993 in Bettendorf. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Army Reserves after serving more than 32 years. He retired from AAA Motor Club of Iowa in 1995 after 20 years of service. Prior to AAA, he provided home delivery service for more than 25 years for Iowana and Sanitary Dairies. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, where he served as deanery representative, was on the Parish Council, a Eucharistic minister, active in C.E.W. and sang in the choir. Survivors include his wife; his children, David (Karen) Jensen, Cedar Rapids, Rick Jensen, Clinton, Beth Cale, Davenport, Dawn Wooten, Davenport, Cathy Jensen, Davenport, Steve (Beth) Jensen, Davenport, and Tony Jensen, Cliffside Park, N.J.; his stepchildren, Cathy and Jim Hoskins, Brooklyn Park, Minn., Karin and Lorin Daniels, DeWitt, Connie Waterman, Naperville Ill., and Michael and Jane Waterman, Hillsdale Ill.; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Laverna (Cliff) Petersen, Davenport; a brother, Russell Jensen; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Jensen, Viola, Ill. He was preceded in death by his first wife, two sons, a granddaughter, two brothers, a sister and a son-in-law.
