Rev. Koenig died at his Sauk City, WI home in which he was born 11/22/1931. On 
6/8/1958, he married Evelyn Marie Thomsen in Madison, WI. He became minister 
at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland, IA 7/1958 and retired from 
there 11/1996 after which they moved back to Sauk City.Survivors include his 
wife, daughter Greta Koenig of Wisconsin Dells, son Karl (Valerie) of 
Stockbridge, GA and Sarah (Jeff) Meyer of Wheatland, along with five 
granddaughters and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his brothers Orlo 
H. and Robert W. Koenig.
He was buried 4/5/2003 in St. Paul's Cemetery in Wheatland, IA.
